Using this website

By using varsityculture.co.za you agree to these terms. The site is provided for information about our businesses and to let you place orders and enquiries. We try to keep the content accurate but product availability, prices and trading hours change, and the information on the counter and on the online store at the time of purchase takes precedence over this site.

Orders

• Online and WhatsApp orders are confirmed only once payment through the link we send has been received. Until then no order exists and nothing is prepared.
• Meat is sold by weight or in fixed-price platters as described on the store. Where you order by rand value we weigh to that value and small variances may occur.
• Orders are for collection at 2 Jacaranda Street, Lusikisiki, on the day of the order. Orders not collected by closing time are forfeited unless you have phoned to arrange otherwise.
• If we cannot fulfil an order because a product is out of stock we will contact you to substitute, or refund the payment in full.
• Cooked food should be eaten on the day of collection. Raw meat should be refrigerated immediately.

Age restriction

Alcohol is sold only to persons aged 18 or over, in terms of the Liquor Act and the conditions of our licences. Identification will be requested. Alcohol cannot be ordered through the online store.

Business quotes

Quotes issued to business and government clients are subject to the terms stated on the quote itself, which override these website terms where they differ.

Intellectual property

The Varsity names, logos and the content of this site belong to 4Scissors Culture (Pty) Ltd and may not be copied for commercial use without written permission. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from information on it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
